The Ski Apache resort is located in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Since it is the United State’s southernmost skiing region, it offers a fine, warm & soothing weather that favors skiing and snowboarding experience. Unlike other skiing resorts, you won’t feel the cold hitting you hard. The Ski Apache resort gives you the best of two worlds, warm weather and fresh powder on the mountain. The dust on the mountain because of the warm weather, makes it easier for riders to ski and snowboard.
It has a slope for every rider. Slopes that are easy and fun for the beginners and there are also slopes that are curvy, edgy and exciting for the enthusiasts and professionals. The resort even offers lessons, whether you are a beginner or an expert. There is always an instructor who will turn you into a better surfer. The resort offers private lessons and group lessons as well.
Private lessons for ski and snowboarding start at $90 (Lesson only) Ages 4 and above. The time duration for each customised private lesson is 50 minutes. If the child needs to be accompanied by his parents or siblings there would be an additional $65 charge per extra person. During the holidays, the prices hike up to $115 dollars and $75 for every extra add on adult. The resort’s professional ski apache instructors will have you riding down the mountain in no time. Private lessons require reservations to be made prior.
Group lessons for ski and snowboarding start at $55 (Lesson only) and $135 for a package discounted rate which includes the lesson and the lift ticket and rentals. During the holidays, the prices hike up to $65 and $135 respectively. Groups require a minimum of 5 people. Reservations are not needed as it is based on a first-come-first-serve basis.The time schedule for these lessons are between 10 am and 2 pm everyday.

How To Get To Ski Apache? (Directions)
Google maps would probably be the best way to opt for in order to get to ski apachE, depending on where you are coming/driving from.
Some of the very common routes to ski apache are the following routes. They are,
Albuquerque and the North: Take the I-25 to highway 380. Then highway 380 east to highway 37. Turn south or right on highway 37. Stay on the road until it intersects highway 48. Once there, proceed to the ski run road which is on the northside of Ruidoso, proceed further for 11 miles until you reach the ski apache parking lot.
Las Cruces and the West: Get on highway 70 east and head towards Sudderth Avenue (highway 48), make a left on Sudderth. Stay on the same road for 3 miles until you see an intersection with Mechem drive. Take the right there and keep going for 5 miles straight on the Ski sun road. Lastly take a left on the Ski sun road, keep driving for 11 miles until you reach the ski apache parking lot.
El Paso and the South: Take highway 54 which will bring you highway 70. Then highway 70 east to Sudderth avenue, make a left on Sudderth.
